Cleveland, Ohio, October 19, 2012 APB & Associates, Inc. (APB) is a proponent of continual process improvement. To that end, APB understands the importance of keeping its employees’ subject matter knowledge current; and the value that continuous learning brings to clients. James Morrow, Portfolio Manager, and William Gibson, Assistant Project Manager, have been with the company for over one year and through in-house training, they have improved client solutions.

Morrow oversees APB’s larger construction, environmental and IT projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, in mathematics, from Oberlin College, in Ohio; and is recently ISO 14001:2004 RABQSA-Certified. This credential means Morrow assumes the responsibility as a Lead Auditor for Environmental Management Systems for APB. “The key to successfully meeting client expectations is to stay with or ahead of the trends. We must keep reinventing ourselves and adding new and improved ways to be better at what we do,” said Morrow when asked why he thought it was important to earn more credentials at this point in his career. “We see challenges and design solutions. We know the growth of our company depends on our successfully bringing together the resources, technical solutions, and bright ideas that our clients demand.”

Gibson manages several of APB’s construction-related projects. He works with contractors and construction personnel to meet project goals using a number of different methods and processes. He is a graduate of Cleveland State University, with a degree in Urban Planning and Development. Gibson is currently being trained through the Project Management Development Program (PMDP), sponsored by the Construction Employers Association. According to Gibson, “There is opportunity at APB and I see this course as a way to use formal education to build my knowledge; and prepare myself for even more responsibility as a project manager. APB has been very supportive of my personal development.” Upon completion of the course in January 2013, Gibson will have an AGC Project Manager Development Program Certificate of Completion, to further demonstrate APB’s ability to maximize efficiency and effectively deliver project requirements for their clients.
